About Us

Michelle Goss is president of THE LEADER'S EDGE, INC., an Atlanta-based executive coaching and leadership consultancy. Since 1998, she has specialized in working with corporate executives, business owners, and entrepreneurs who are dedicated to creating personal and organizational success. She is known for her lively, unconventional approach to leadership and for guiding high-performance teams and individuals to far exceed their goals.

Formerly an HR executive, Michelle has over 20 years of experience consulting managers and professionals in the areas of business development, communication, change, productivity, and motivation. She conducts leadership talent assessments, designs and delivers action-learning and team-building events for executives, and teaches communication & feedback skills to leaders in major corporations. Michelle draws on her practical experience and her passion for success when coaching and consulting others to succeed.

As a leader in the coaching community, Michelle has served as President of the International Coach Federation's Atlanta chapter. She is a senior course leader for The Coaches Training Institute, a supervisor to coaches-in-training, and an adjunct faculty member of Capella University's MBA program, focusing primarily on integrating coaching as a core leadership competency.

In June of 2005, Michelle co-founded GROWE, the Georgia Roundtable of Women Entrepreneurs,(www.growe.biz) which serves both business owners and corporate executives. GROWE exists to help women thrive, professionally and personally.

Michelle holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Macalester College in St. Paul, MN, a Professional Certified Coach credential from the International Coach Federation, and Co-Active™ Coach certification from The Coaches Training Institute. She currently lives in a northern suburb of Atlanta with her husband, daughter, and two 10-pound "guard dogs", Xena and Jasmine.
